I want to say big thanks for your voice project work so far!
It's already a huge improvement and extension to the default voice sets and I can't imagine how great Pro-ATC/X will be when we have 10 additional voice sets or so. It's a real shame that the dev, Mourad Boutabba, doesn't support you and even doesn't react at all - I hope you do not care about it and the incomprehensible reaction of a certain forum moderator....
I'm also ready to speak in my voice when the tool is ready ;)
Finally, I have a suggestion/question:
Wouldn't it be more efficient and realistic to speak in the respective voice sets for either pilots OR controllers instead of both?
I personally don't use one voice set for both sides.
(btw I don't like the full real name requirement in the official forum, that's the reason why I'm not active there anymore and for sure some others who enjoy your work, too- this may also explain the small reaction on your addon in the forum)
Have a great weekend,
Oh and I forgot:
You're absolutely right, the default voices are very loud and overmodulating.
I am new to this issue of voices for PROATC / X, and therefore thank you for information on:
1) How to download voice packets and what is the route of your installation in PROATC / X
I thank you for the help you can give me and wish you a good day.
Regards and many thanks from,

I see in the painful need to annoy it again because some tell me that the files bring the installation instructions, others that I should ask in another web page, but the truth is that I have reviewed three of the files, including the one that comes in Spanish , Which are available to users, and I have not found the instructions. For the above, I am annoyed with this query, so please tell me how to install the voice pack files.
Very grateful I subscribe of you with a cordial greeting,
Hello Marcel -
Just wanted to add my praise for your FSX AI sound files. They literally put the default AI plane sounds to shame. I had to do some working to get it to work with my Ultimate Traffic 2 install (adding plane folders to the UT2 Aircraft folder and then the soundai folder to them), but once I got it I was blown away by the difference. FSX default sounds are absolutely pitiful and you've made the airport environment come back to life again.
How do you get the AI Files to work in FSX? I still get the FSX Default Crappy Sounds.
Do you have the setting SOUND_LOD=0 in your fsx.cfg?
A big thank you for these AI sounds. It really makes a big difference. Are you planning to do some more in the future? Like the 330 series for example?
Yes I hope to make more sounds when I have time. Now I'm busy with the ATC voice project.
Thank you very much for your nice AI sounds. I really enjoy them because they add a very realistic atmosphere to the airport. I really hope you don't stop making sounds for AI aircraft.
Hello. Your sounds are amazing. World of ai is working on a new version and they are looking for people to help them. You should consider joining their team. :)
Short comment but I though I should let you know.
hello! i would like to ask if is there a way to change the sound of wingview into virtual cockpit view? Like this, while i change the views, i continue habing the sound of interior...do you think is possible?' thanks in advance and thanks for you work!!!
I tried to make my own custom ai sounds as well some years ago with one of the default ones as the starting point. I was able to reach nice level of realism but what I found at the end was that when numerous ai of the same aircraft became active on ground their sound logic broke stopped following soundai.cfg params and played all sound files at full volume at the same time. For eg I could hear jet fans and rumble on ai taxiing on ground. Did you face a similar problem while making your sounds?
Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Frustrated me so much I almost quit making sounds. The problem still exists with my sounds, it's a terrible fsx bug. Pressing 'Q' two times sometimes helps.
It does but found it only helped when active ground ai return to a small number else it invariably made more aircraft misbehave. So now I actually refrain from using this trick most of the time.
More frustratingly in p3d LM hasn't chosen yet to address it or may be hasnt yet identified it. I have recently opened a thread on this there but so far havent got any useful responses. Seems most are unaware of it, probably since default and payware ai enhancements arent too varying in their sound and loudness between idle and full thrust, they have failed to notice it.
hi! thanks for all your kind work about sounds and ai. I had a question: sometimes, the volume of a planes is very ver high. I can even hear a plane that is coming to land suddenly very intense. Is there a way to make it more low? thanks!!!
No this a bug in FSX/P3D. See post above from P3fly. Sometimes it helps to press 'Q' (sound off/on).
I was one of the people that created a voice set for Pro ATC. I also was a beta tester, and about 5 weeks ago, I was told that my voice set and all other none PATC voices would be disabled, which was done in the latest release of PATC. At that point, I decided to resign my position as beta tester, and purchased PF3 which has 160 voices, and I am very happy with PF3. I have not used PATC since then.
Thanks for these Marcel, they work perfectly with the latest beta.
Thank you for your excellent work, Marcel. A question -- do you have any suggestions on how differentiate which A320 sounds are assigned to IAE vs CFM? I use the UT2 models for most of my A320's and they don't differentiate between the two.
Thanks again for your work.
All I can say is wow. Your AI aircraft sounds are so realistic. Most ai sounds are very loud with engines suddenly blasting when they are on approach but with yours, you only hear it gradually as the aircraft comes closer to you...And the transition of the spooling up and down is fantastic. That's amazing. I am greatly disappointed its only for a few types of aircraft you have it available for. Can you please please continue the great work with more props as well as other turbojets. I am looking all over the web for persons that does AI Sounds the way you do. No luck so far :(
Thanks, indeed for those wonderful voices + AI sounds!
I had requested a female voice for the first officer/pilot. Has their been any progress made to provide this? I don't see any in the listed voice sets.
Unfortunately no female voices have been sent in.
Was wondering if this project is indeed ongoing, because I was interested in possibly recording a voice pack in US English. Would kind of hate to do all the work and have it be for naught.
Al een hele poos niets van je gehoord, hoop dat er niets ernstigs is
Thanks for creating and sharing this excellent project. Im using P3D v3.4 with my Traffic 6. My problem is that the AI sounds that i have installed following your instructions are very quiet, and nothing like your YouTube samples. Any Ideas?
My Traffic 6 installed outside of the main P3D folder, but I have made the changes to the Aircraft folders within the external My Traffic Professional 6 folder as if this was within P3D.
Any thoughts most welcome...
thanks in anticipation
Thanks Marcel for some great AI sounds!! Yes its a pity LM didnt fix that sound bug. I am trying to create some ai sounds for the VC-10 RR Conways and 1-11, for my "Classic" 60's sim in FSX, but struggling trying to understand the sound cone thingy. Well done
